I have been involved in Liturgical Ministry and Pastoral Music Ministry for 50 years. I began as a senior in high school, accompanying the first “guitar” masses for my class, and have never looked back. Today I am semi-retired and provide Music Ministry at St. Peter Church, a very small parish, in Douglas, MI. I prepare music for the liturgical seasons and sacramental celebrations, and direct an adult chamber choir and a youth ensemble. I have just begun a bell choir, teaching first time ringers and writing simple arrangements for them. I also play piano and organ for all parish liturgies. I love making music, especially when that can help people celebrate the liturgy, experience God’s Goodness and find strength to share that with others.
