Sisters of Notre Dame First Profession of Vows: Sister Nicole Marie Varnerin

Sister Nicole Marie Varnerin celebrated her first profession of vows as a Sister of Notre Dame on Saturday, February 24, at Notre Dame Education Center, Chardon.

Sister Nicole is the daughter of Bruce and Debbie Varnerin of Ridgefield, Connecticut.As an electrical engineer Sister Nicole Marie did research with stroke and spinal cord injury patients at the Cleveland Clinic.  When in the National Novitiate in Covington, Kentucky, she took courses in theology at Xavier University and volunteered for the Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition, in the Health Care Center at the Covington Provincial Center, and tutored in math and science.

Sister Nicole entered the community from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

Beginning in March, she will start ministry at Cleveland Central Catholic High School in Attendance and Math Intervention.
