Our dear Sister Mary Margaret (Sister Mary Nathan) went home to God on Friday morning,
She was sister, teacher, mentor, loyal friend and financial wizard, but once remarked, “You could say less about my financial work but more about relationship to the community and to the sisters. This was the most important part of my religious life—not what I did or the positions I held but the interaction with the sisters and lay people. I treasure this more than the “treasurer.”
May Sister Mary Margaret be gifted with eternal life and delight in the welcoming embrace of our good and loving God. The wake will be on Tuesday, August 13, from 2–4 and 7–9 with the prayer service at 7:00, and on Wednesday, August 14, from 9–10:15. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 on Wednesday followed by the burial and luncheon in the auditorium.
